At Cross-Cultural Communication Academy, we support organizations, leaders and teams in changing how people work together — especially in complex, international and cross-cultural environments.
Our work focuses on leadership, communication, collaboration and psychological safety in times of change, growth and increasing complexity.We work both with organizations and directly with leaders who carry responsibility for people, performance and transformation.
My bio
My background is in tourism and therefore my interest in communication and other cultures has always been part of my life. I would consider myself quite lucky as I was able to live and work in different countries and gain insights into cultures and get to know people from around the world, with various backgrounds and experiences.
Living and working in another country is different compared to going on vacation. The moment you spend some time away from home or abroad, it changes you – no matter if you have the intention to or not. In my case, it not only allowed me to look at my own personality and cultural background, but also question my beliefs, and I realised how communication across countries, cultures, within teams and companies differ, and I’m not only referring to language barriers.
Open-mindedness is crucial to avoid cross-cultural and interpersonal faux pax that may lead to long-term issues. Good communication required people to listen without judgement and interpretation. As cross-cultural business communication trainer, coach, and consultant my focus lies on raising awareness around cultural and individual differences and improving my clients’ communication skills.
My goal is to support you in adopting a mindset that allows you to effectively communicate across countries & cultures and within global teams – to establish relationships that last and to create a safe space of mutual understanding and a company culture built on trust.
In founding “Cross Cultural Communication Academy” and “CL: CasaLinguae” I wanted to provide a comprehensive communication solution – for internationally operating companies as well as leaders, managers and global teams with the goal of improving their communication skills.
